Annette Nunez lives in Denver, Colorado. She is a licensed psychotherapist and primarily works with children with autism. Annette received a B.A. in psychology at UCLA, a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy and a PhD at the University of Denver. She is the founder and director of Breakthrough Interventions, LLC and consults and supervises the therapists at the Breakthrough Interventions site in South Africa.
Annette also co-wrote the book “Friendship Is”, and is currently writing a book about grief that will be published in 2016. She conducts many seminars both nationally and internationally and has consulted with many schools in China and South Africa.
When Annette isn’t working she enjoys hiking, running, practicing yoga, and traveling. She loves animals and has rescued three pug puppies that she adores taking care of. The relationships with her family and friends are extremely important to her, and she finds much pleasure in spending as much quality time with them as she can. Currently, Annette is entertained with her dating life and hopes to meet her life partner in the near future.
